Track record

Sensei Sambrano brings a thirty-year background in automotive mechanical work, autobody craftsmanship, and the accessories industry. Recurring community RC drifting twice weekly at Pacific Palisades Community Park, continuously since Ka Makani Kāʻili Koa’s founding.

Featured at Super Saturday, PopCon, and the Institute for Astronomy Open House. Invited by the organizers of Kawaii Kon — Hawaiʻi’s largest anime convention — to host a drift school track and an exhibition track as an interactive experience for convention guests, at no cost to Ka Makani Kāʻili Koa. Hundreds of people have experienced RC drifting through these events and the recurring community sessions.

Founded by Sensei Jeron Kalani Sambrano, Chief Executive Officer of Project K4.

  • Sustained delivery, not one-off appearances.

    Twice a week, every week, since the organization began. Public events are visible; the weekly sessions are where the teaching actually happens.

  • Invited rather than soliciting.

    The Kawaii Kon approach came from the convention’s organizers, and the experience is provided at no cost to the nonprofit. An organization that is asked to appear — by a convention, an observatory open house, a community festival — has demonstrated something that a grant application cannot assert on its own.
